Just to be going on with, here’s a couple of shots of No. 8 (S.D.) Squadron Liberator KH 191 in transit through the Cocos on ferrying duties, about October 1945. Why KH 191, of No. 8 Squadron? Because this aircraft is still flying, and is operated by the Collings Foundation in the USA. Photos taken by my father, circa October 1945.
