Richards, Romsey and Ross were killed after the starboard engine of LN 263 failed during flight testing.  Remnant was posted to 31 Squadron in DC3’s and was killed 26.5.44.  Maisey completed his tour with 99, remained in the RAF and retired as Wing Commander.
