The Post War Years
This  section is under development, and aimed at providing photos and accounts of all those 99ers who served after the cessation of  hostilities.

There’s been some contact with the Britannia guys, resulting in their contacting the Squadron Association and attending events at Brize Norton.  But we can always use some more....and the best way of getting interest, for future generations as well as for those who served, is to get photos and anecdotage on to the web site.

The Squadron was involved in the Berlin Airlift, and performed some sterling work, which at the time was greatly appreciated by the native Berliners.

So come on, all you post war 99ers - let’s pay tribute to your achievements too.  If anyone should feel like sending me written material, then I’ll get it on site.   Equally, you get the same deal on photos as the WWII vets....send me a photo or two, I’ll scan it and return it to you, accompanied by an A4 (or, if it’s good enough and you really twist my arm) an A3 copy, all free of charge.

Otherwise, I’ll push on with material drawn from “Each Tenacious” and whatever ORBs I can glean from Kew.  But remember - this is your site too, and can only be as good as the material it contains, for which I’m reliant on you guys.
